Scorpdb (scorpion and scorpion venom peptides database) is a resource for all data about different scorpion species, peptides identified in the venom gland of scorpions and also treatment guidelines for scorpion stings.
Scorpdb provides an easy access to categorized important information about all data mentioned above. Knowing the location, reproduction, feeding and injury of scorpion species along with basic data about scorpion venom peptides, including amino acid sequence, activity, and therapeutic potential are totally essential for different research. Furthermore, treatment guidelines for management of the scorpion stings by different scorpion species provided by Scorpdb can help hospitals and healh centers to save the victims of scorpion stings.
